haha is this a shot at DC? cause weren’t these comics coming out at a time where it wasn’t cool for capes to have real person problems?
The whole reason Spider-Man was considered so revolutionary was because he was a superhero who had “real” problems (at least for a comic book character) as opposed to the DC characters, who didn’t generally deal with those sorts of things.
It’s why for the longest time there was the perception that Marvel’s heroes were more likable and relatable than those published by DC.
